About Antibes

Antibes balances medieval ramparts with one of the largest superyacht marinas in Europe at Port Vauban. Cap d'Antibes pine groves, Juan-les-Pins beaches, and the timeless Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc give every shoot a distinctive layered atmosphere.

Yacht work in Antibes centres on Port Vauban, where the Quai des Milliardaires holds some of the largest superyachts in the Mediterranean. The quay itself is gated, so we photograph from the public quaysides, from a tender, or on board with your access. The classic exterior angle sets the yacht against Fort Carré across the water, best in the first two hours after sunrise before harbour traffic builds. April to October is charter season, and we schedule around crew turnarounds and departure times.

How we work in Antibes

Every shoot in Antibes is fully managed by Riva. We scout the location ahead of time, coordinate with venues and captains as needed, and arrive with the right equipment for the brief, waterproof housings for sea-side work, low-light primes for evening events, drone certification where permitted, and a strict no-publication-without-consent policy.

Once your session is complete, we deliver a first curated selection within forty-eight hours, and your fully retouched gallery within seven days. Express delivery is available on request for time-sensitive needs.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a yacht photographer cost in Antibes?

Yacht photography at Port Vauban starts at 790 € all taxes included for a one hour session, ideal for exteriors or a short session on deck. Half-day coverage is 1,890 € and a full charter day is 2,890 €. First selects are edited and delivered within 48 hours, useful for charter listings on a deadline.

Can you shoot on the Quai des Milliardaires at Port Vauban?

The Quai des Milliardaires is gated, so access depends on your situation. With your owner or charter access we shoot on board and on the pontoon. Without it, we work from the public quaysides, the ramparts, or a tender, which still gives strong exterior angles with Fort Carré across the water.

Do you use a drone for yacht photography in Antibes?

We work from ground and water, quaysides, tender, and on board, rather than by drone. Airspace around Port Vauban and the coast is heavily restricted, and we prefer angles we can guarantee. Between the ramparts, the breakwater, and a moving tender, we cover the yacht's exterior fully without aerial work. French rules changed on 1 January 2026: the arrêté of 23 December 2025 opened flight over built-up areas to professional operators in the open category, with ten working days notice, a 120 metre ceiling and no flight over uninvolved people. Municipal and prefectural orders can also close beaches to drones between June and September.

Do you sign NDAs for owners and charter guests?

Yes, routinely. We sign your NDA or provide ours before boarding, we never publish images without written consent, and raw files are deleted on the schedule you set. Much of our yacht work at Port Vauban is never published anywhere, the gallery goes to the owner or the management company only.
